The directors
Alexa-Jeanne Dubé
Alexa-Jeanne is first and foremost an actress. We were able to appreciate his participation in the series Faits divers, l’Échappée, Larry, Après, la Faille and many others. The artist began directing in 2016 with his first short film YES BUT NO and continued his journey with several others such as Joutel (2021), SDR (2020) and Scopique (2017) which were all presented in several festivals in around the world and have all received several awards. His first feature film Sucré Seize (2023) is screened at the Raindance and Cinémania festivals. Finally, Alexa-Jeanne is also the instigator and artistic director of the NICE TRY-belessai evenings presented at Usine C since 2015, an essential quarterly event for spontaneous and festive creation.
Fanny Migneault-Lecavalier
Fanny Migneault-Lecavalier is a multidisciplinary artist from Montreal. She works in the artistic community as a director, visual artist, photographer, actress, author and singer. In addition to her training in theater, Fanny is a self-taught visual artist (painting, drawing, photography, production). Her latest film production, Genou d’or, was presented and selected at the Festival du cinéma international en Abitibi-Témiscamingue/espace court, at the RVCQ as well as at the Cinema On The Bayou Film Festival in 2022. This short film has elsewhere obtained the AQTIS Prize + APCQ Prize at Prends ça court.
